Talent FAQ Items
How do I Join People2View?
Click Join on the top menu, and then select either TALENT or INDUSTRY. Select "talent" if you are a singer, dancer, model, etc, and you want to put your portfolio on People2View. Select "industry" if your business is a supplier to the talent industry, such as a talent agency, hair salon, film studio, etc. Check your e-mail for your instant People2View username and password, then log in. You're now a member.
Forgotten username and password?
To get your People2View username and password sent to you e-mail address, go to the homepage, scroll to the top of the page, and click on either FORGOTTEN PASSWORD or FORGOTTEN USERNAME (under the link that says JOIN FOR FREE NOW). A box will appear. Type in your e-mail in this box and then click the GO button. After a moment, a message will pop up telling you either that your e-mail was not found or that your username and password have been sent to your e-mail. Check your e-mail and then log in.
Can I Change my Password?
Yes. In your private admin area, go to MY SETTINGS and type in your new password, and repeat the same password in the Confirm New box. Click submit. Your password has been updated.
What should I consider when uploading images?
- Good quality images will increase your chances of being selected by talent scouts. Poor quality images that are distorted, darkened or blurry may reduce your chances of success. Please preview your homepage by clicking on the MY WEBPAGE link in your private menu to make sure your images look okay. You can delete and re-upload your images in your MY PHOTOS area at any time.
- Your images should be in JPG format and between min 20kb and max 1mb in file size.
- Your images will look best in Portrait format (higher than wider)
- Try not to upload images with other people in.
- Please remember nudity is not premitted and People2View reserves the right to remove such images from the site.
- If you are having problems uploading images, feel free to send us an email attaching your images, to service@people2view.com. Please include your People2View username in the e-mail.
How do I Activate My Membership?
If you have not yet activated your membership, when you log into People2View you will be prompted with an ACTIVATE message. Simply click on the ACTIVATE NOW button and you will be taken to the Choose Payment Plan page.
How do I get my personal homepage?
When you join People2View as talent, you will get a personal homepage. The address of your personal home page will be your first name plus last name plus people2view.com, so your full address will look something like:
joebloggs.people2view.com
When visitors click on your small photo in search results, they will be taken to your personal homepage. To get your free homepage and web address, you must enter your last name in the MY INFO form of your private admin area, and upload at least one photo. Go to MY PHOTOS in your private menu to upload photos
How do I get my photo on People2View?
To get your photo on People2View, you must:
1) Log in with the username and password sent to your e-mail address when you join.
2) Upload a photo using the MY PHOTOS link in your personal admin area.
3) Enter your Last Name in the MY INFO link in your personal admin area.
4) Your photo will not be included in online searches until it is approved by People2View - this should take less than 24 hours
Will I be Notified when new jobs are added to People2View?
If you have e-mail alerts enabled (go to MY SETTING in your private menu), you will receive e-mail alerts for new jobs that match the skills you have checked in the MY SKILLS area of your private menu.
How Do I apply for jobs through People2View?
You need to be logged in to apply for jobs. When logged in, click on a latest job on the right side of the site, or click FIND JOB on the top menu. Enter your job search criteria, and then search. In the list of jobs, click on the job title. You will be taken to the full job information. Click on the GO button under APPLY NOW. You will be automatically added to the employer's list of applicants for the job.
To view application progress, go to MY JOBS in your private admin area, and you will be able to see if the employer has shortlisted you for the job. The employer may also choose to contact you through People2View, or remove your application from the application list. You should not apply for jobs for which you don't have the appropriate skills, as an employer may also choose to block you from applying for further jobs with their company through the People2View job application process.
What happens when an employer contacts me through People2View?
If you have e-mail alerts enabled, an e-mail will be sent to you automatically when an employer contacts you through People2View. You can also view and delete messages sent to you by going to MY MESSAGES in your private admin area. You can also choose to block employers from contacting you, or report messages as spam. These will be reviewed by People2View support staff.
Can I upload my own resume?
If you are a People2View Full Member, you can upload a resume in WORD or PDF format.
Can I remove my profile from People2View?
In the unlikely event you want to remove your photos and information from People2View, follow these instructions:
1) Log In
2) Go to MY SETTINGS in your private menu
3) Click on CANCEL MEMBERSHIP at the bottom of the settings page

Earn Cash with People2View's Referral Programme
You earn 25% of the first subscription payment your friends or clients make to People2View.
If one friend joins and pays $40 then you get $10.
If 10 friends join and pay $40 each you get $100.

You can refer as many people as you know and get money!
- Log in to People2View.
- In Your Private Menu click the EARN CASH button.
- Enter your friend or client's name and email address, and then send.
- The email contains a link to People2View. When your friend comes to People2View by clicking the link in the email, this identifies you for us.
- There is no limit to the number of people you can introduce.
- When your friend joins as a Full Member you receive Cash
- They may join at first as a Free Starter. There is no Cash Entitlement to you until they join as a Full Member.
- In the EARN CASH window of your private admin area, you have a list of all the people that you have sent a message to, and their progress to date. You can see if they have read their e-mail message, and see their membership status.

- How Much? You will receive 25% of the first subscription payment that your friend pays. Your cash will be available 14 days after payment is made and will be paid from our PayPal account.

How Do Talent Apply for jobs I've posted on People2View?
After you've added a new job, matching talent wil be automatically sent an e-mail. These e-mail recipients as well as other registered talent may then apply through your job listing on People2View. This listing will be available in the "Latest Jobs" panel on the right hand side of the website, or through the JOB SEARCH link on the top menu.
You can view applicants by going to "Manage Jobs >> View Applicants & Manage Job Adverts" in your private admin area. You can view applicants by clicking on their name in the applicants list. You may also contact, delete, block or move the applcants to your job shortlist.
What is the shortlist?
The shortlist is designed to help you manage applicants more efficiently. If you think an applicant may be right for a particular job, move them from the application list to your shortlist for that job, for later review and consideration. Note: you can also add talent to your shortlist from the talent search results (submit the QUICK TALENT SEARCH form from any public page on the site). You can also create a job that will NOT appear on People2View but can be used for shortlisting purposes. Just click NO on the "Show in Job List" dropdown when adding a job.
